Recommended Prior LearningWorking at Level 5 or above of the NZ curriculum in Mathematics
Mathematics with Algebra is a course designed for students who have shown they are confident with all strands of the Junior Curriculum. It provides students with a broad mathematical foundation and covers number, algebra, graphs, measurement, geometry, statistics, and probability.

* All Year 11 students are required to study Mathematics and will be placed in either: Mathematics for Numeracy or Mathematics with Algebra.

Assessment Information
This 11MAA course will assess three of the four new in 2024 standards. This will require a broader understanding of the links between topics, which we hope will result in better learning outcomes for our akonga.
