Nelson College Online Course Selection for 2023 will open on Monday is 15th August.

Course Selection Evening - Thursday 18th August 6-8pm

It is time for our students to start thinking about their course selections and pathways for 2023 and beyond. As these are important decisions, we will be running a Course Selection Information Evening on Thursday 18th August from 6-8pm.

The evening provides an opportunity for our students and their whanau to meet with key staff members to help them make informed decisions.
Throughout the evening Faculty Leaders, Specialist Teachers and Deans will be available in the Hall to provide information and answer questions. In the Library we will also be hosting three presentations that students and whanau are welcome to attend:

6.15pm Pathways for those considering University (Year 12 and 13 students)
6.45pm Introduction to NCEA (Year 10 students)
7.15pm Pathways for those considering Employment and Apprenticeships (Year 12 and 13 students)

Courses for you provides a detailed list of options available for your Course Selection 2023.  

Subject descriptions, recommended prior learning, assessments and teachers in charge, along with any course costs or equipment.

If you do not know what you want to do in the future, do not worry, this is extremely common. Keep your options broad.
