Junior ESOL

Junior ESOL is a combined class which caters to both Year 9 and Year 10 language students. It is now a full Middle Years Program subject, in which students are assessed against the Capable Level (Phases 3-4) of the MYP Language Acquisition Guide. This is a rigourous program of study focused on a range of literary and cultural perspectives. Students have two opportunities during the year to complete summative assessments for each of the course objectives:

Criterion A: Listening
Criterion B: Reading
Criterion C: Speaking
Criterion D: Writing
